- Non-UP users are given Room-Use access to all the library collection provided they meet the requirements.
- Apply for a Library Entrance Permit at the window
- You must meet the requirements or you will not be given a permit
What are the requirements?
High School and College Students
- School ID or any valid ID
- Referral Letter from the School’s Principal or Librarian stating the research topic
- For visits involving a whole Class/Section a Request Letter should be addressed to the Head Librarian of the College of Science Library at least a week before the desired schedule
- Confirm the request by calling the library 920-5301 local 7978
- Pay the necessary fee
Government Researchers
- Office ID or any valid ID
- Referral Letter from the Head/Director/Chairman of Office stating the purpose and the research topic
- If research is for personal purposes pay the necessary fee
Other Researchers
- School/Office ID, License or any valid ID
- Request letter stating the purpose and research topic
- Pay the necessary fee
How much do I have to pay for the library permit?
- High School - P10 / day
- College Students - P50 /day
- DLSU Students - P80 / day (*same as DLSU entrance fee for UP students)
- Government Researchers - Official = Free
- Government Researchers - Personal = P20 /day
- Other Researchers - P50 /day
I am not a UP student nor employee but I want to use the library as a reading area for my Board Exam review?
- Apply for a Library Entrance Permit :
- daily - P 50 per day
- monthly - P225 per month
- semester - P 450 per sem
- Get one at the ID / Permit Desk
- You must also bring the requirements stated above
